According to the website of the German magazine "Focus" on July 1, German company Rheinmetall has invested approximately 100 million euros in building a new factory in North Rhine-Westphalia, where they will produce key components for the F-35 stealth fighter. The report suggests that with increasing military spending, the German defense industry is thriving, with major companies investing heavily to expand production capacity. By the end of March this year, Rheinmetall, Germany's largest defense company, had a backlog of orders totaling 626 billion euros. Since the outbreak of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, Rheinmetall's sales and profits have skyrocketed, with it being reported that the number of employees has increased by a quarter in two years, reaching 40,000 people, and the share price has increased by approximately 18 times.
