The meteorological department reminds the need to guard against secondary disasters such as floods in small and medium-sized rivers, urban and rural waterlogging, mountain torrents, landslides, and mudslides that may be caused by heavy rainfall. Strong convective weather has also been seen in many areas, with Zhang County in Dingxi City and Huan County in Qingyang City issuing orange hail warnings. According to the Gansu Provincial Meteorological Bureau, this round of precipitation is the most widespread, intense, and longest-lasting heavy precipitation weather process to affect Gansu Province after the start of summer.
