The fishing ban on Qiantang River has ended.

Yesterday, the Qiantang River ended its four-month fishing ban, and fishermen took advantage of the sunny weather to cast their nets and catch fish. Since the fishing ban in 2019, the migratory fish species such as the Chinese sturgeon and Qiantang perch in the Qiantang River have seen a significant increase in their population, with some sections of the river showing a growth of more than thirty percent in fish resources.
