Professor Diao Daming of the School of International Relations at Renmin University of China: On June 21st, the US strike on Iranian nuclear facilities has had a negative impact in many aspects. Firstly, this action violates international norms. The action clearly goes against the purposes and principles of the United Nations Charter, seriously violates international law, poses a major challenge and threat to Iran's sovereignty and security, and is an extreme practice of trampling on the basic rights of other countries through military means, which is not conducive to maintaining the basic order of the international and regional community. Secondly, this action undermines international cooperation. The US's use of force to attack nuclear facilities safeguarded and monitored by the International Atomic Energy Agency disregards and disrupts international organizations and cooperation efforts, hindering the progress of international nuclear non-proliferation efforts. Thirdly, this action provokes relevant parties and worsens the problem. On one hand, this action continues to favor Israel and support its extreme actions. On the other hand, it disrupts the possibility of resolving the Iranian nuclear issue through peaceful negotiations, making the problem even more difficult to solve. Fourthly, the US's action directly interferes in Middle East affairs, further complicating the regional situation and potentially escalating into a proxy war, which is not conducive to resolving issues in the Middle East through peace negotiations, communication, and dialogue. Overall, the US's action is driven by the intention to maintain hegemony and control in the Middle East for its own interests, which does not help improve the regional situation or solve problems, but rather complicates and worsens the situation.
