On June 23, Jianan Technology announced that it has initiated a strategic reorganization aimed at focusing on its core business, namely the sale of Bitcoin mining machines, self-mining operations, and consumer-oriented mining products. As part of this strategic reorganization, Jianan Technology will terminate its non-core AI chip business unit, which was described in its annual report as "ASICs for edge computing applications" up to December 31, 2024. The company expects the related termination process to be completed in the coming months. Jianan Technology stated that although the AI chip business unit had brought promising innovations, it did not align with the company's streamlined growth strategy. After the complete termination of the AI chip business unit, Jianan Technology expects a significant decrease in overall operating expenses.
