Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation: will donate 1.6 billion dollars to the Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunization in the next five years.

On June 24th, the Gates Foundation announced a new commitment: they will donate $1.6 billion to the Global Vaccine Alliance over the next five years. Since its establishment in 2000, the Gates Foundation has invested over $30.6 billion in driving vaccine research, production, and delivery. This includes a $7.7 billion donation to Gavi, making it the largest recipient of the foundation's grants.
