Commodity futures closed, fuel oil, crude oil, and liquefied gas main contracts hit the lower price limit.

Crude oil prices fell by over 7%, European freight rates dropped by 7%, methanol and asphalt prices fell by over 5%, while styrene, xylene, and PTA prices dropped by over 4%. Lithium carbonate prices rose by over 3%, glass and industrial silicon prices rose by over 1%.
