Hubei Provincial Party Secretary Wang Zhonglin meets with Zhang Zhigang, Chairman of State Grid Corporation of China.

On the afternoon of June 23, Wang Zhonglin, Secretary of the Hubei Provincial Party Committee and Director of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Congress, met with Zhang Zhigang, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of State Grid Corporation of China, in Wuhan. After briefly introducing the economic and social development of Hubei, Wang Zhonglin said that electricity is the lifeblood of the national economy, and Hubei's development cannot be separated from the support and guarantee of electricity. He hoped that State Grid Corporation of China will continue to care and support Hubei, further increase investment in Hubei, strengthen cooperation in building world-class urban and rural power grids, ensuring peak electricity supply in summer, and major power projects construction, to provide solid energy support for the development of Hubei. We will continue to improve the business environment and provide better services and create good conditions for the development of State Grid Corporation of China in Hubei. Zhang Zhigang stated that State Grid Corporation of China will conscientiously implement the central party's decisions and plans, combine with the layout of the "13th Five-Year Plan", fully utilize its functions, closely align with Hubei's development needs, accelerate the construction of power infrastructure, strengthen urban and rural power grid transformation and upgrading, ensure reliable and safe power supply, optimize the business environment for electricity, and contribute more to the rapid development of Hubei as a support point.
