In the Mingping Lake section of the Nan Dongting Lake in Yuanjiang City, the hydrological gauge shows that the current water level has reached 33.71 meters, less than 50 centimeters away from the flood warning level, and the flood control forest has been submerged in floodwaters. Currently, the operation of opening floodgates for drainage is being carried out intensively and orderly in various towns of Yuanjiang City, and the rising trend of the water level in the lake has been brought under control.
