Heavy rain causes floods in many areas in Guangxi, firefighters evacuate the masses

From the evening of June 22nd to yesterday daytime, due to heavy rain, 20 workers at a wood factory in Tian'e County, Hechi, Guangxi, were trapped. This wood factory is located in a low-lying area at the foot of a mountain near the town of Tian'e County. The heavy rain caused some parts of the mountain to collapse, and the mountain torrents rushed down with swift water flow. Some of the factory buildings of the wood processing factory were submerged by the flood, with water depths exceeding 2 meters in some areas. Firefighters and rescue workers carried lifebuoys and other rescue tools and quickly organized personnel to evacuate. After half an hour of effort, all the trapped workers were successfully moved to a safe area.
