Ministry of Water Resources: 12 small and medium-sized rivers have experienced floods exceeding the warning level.
According to the Ministry of Water Resources, from the 22nd to the 23rd, heavy to torrential rains fell in parts of northern Guangxi, western and southern Yunnan, southern Guizhou, central and western Hunan, with localized heavy downpours in areas such as Hechi in Guangxi, Baoshan in Yunnan, and Yingtan in Jiangxi. Due to the rainfall, 12 small and medium-sized rivers, including the Heqian River, a tributary of the Jinsha River in Yunnan, the Zhaihao River, a tributary of the Liu River in Guizhou, the Pingdeng River, a tributary of the Liu River in Guangxi, the Zhizhu River, a tributary of the Yuanjiang River in Hunan, the upstream of the Youshui River in Chongqing, and the Goulugun River, a tributary of the Wuyur River in Heilongjiang, experienced flooding above warning levels. The Ministry of Water Resources issued targeted warnings to Zhejiang, Jiangxi, Hunan, Guangxi, Sichuan, Guizhou, and Tibet, guiding them to take measures to prevent and respond to heavy rainfall effectively.
