Hang Seng Index Company has authorized GlobalXJapan to use the Hang Seng Technology Index as the benchmark for trading exchange-traded funds.

Hang Seng Index Company announced that it has authorized Global X Japan Co., Ltd. to use the Hang Seng Tech Index as the tracking index for its newly launched exchange-traded fund - Global X China Tech ETF. The ETF was listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange today, with total assets under management of approximately 1.1 billion Japanese yen.
