Market analyst Shawn Donnan said that so far, Iran's initial response may be limited. But this serves as a reminder that this conflict could impact the global economy in various ways beyond just oil. Missile launches have led to the closure of airspace in Qatar and the UAE, disrupting commercial flights to Doha and Dubai. These are temporary precautionary measures, and if they are one-time events, things will quickly return to normal. However, these two Gulf countries are major aviation hubs, and if such events occur in the coming summer, it will cause significant disruption. This is not something that global airlines, already dealing with tariffs and slim profit margins, want to deal with.
