Toyota's annual report shows that Chairman Akio Toyoda's director's compensation for the 2024 fiscal year is 19.49 billion yen. Compared to the highest director's compensation in Toyota's history, which was 16.22 billion yen in the 2023 fiscal year, it increased by 20%, setting a new record for the fourth consecutive year. The reason why Akio Toyoda can receive such high compensation is closely related to Toyota's outstanding performance in the 2024 fiscal year. In the 2024 fiscal year, Toyota's revenue was 48.04 trillion yen, an increase of 6.5% year-on-year; operating profit was 4.77 trillion yen, a decrease of 3.6% year-on-year.
