After the United States airstrikes on Iran's nuclear facilities, Japanese shipping companies Nippon Yusen and Mitsui O.S.K. Lines said on Monday that they have instructed their vessels to continue passing through the Strait of Hormuz while minimizing their time spent in the Persian Gulf. The two shipping companies stated that they are closely monitoring the situation and providing real-time updates to vessels operating in the region. A spokesperson for Nippon Yusen said, "We are shortening the time our vessels spend in the Persian Gulf as much as possible according to their sailing plans," and added, "We will decide on the passage plan through the Strait of Hormuz for each vessel based on flexible judgment."
