The US dollar against G10 currency quotes mostly rose in early trading in Sydney, Australia on Monday. The US dollar rose against the Japanese yen to 146.22 yen, before falling back to flat at 146.09 yen. The US dollar rose against the Swiss franc to 0.8277, before falling back to 0.8186, roughly unchanged from the final quote on Friday. The euro fell 0.48% against the US dollar, to 1.1466, while the British pound fell 0.25% against the US dollar, to 1.3414. In commodity currency pairs, the Australian dollar fell over 0.23% against the US dollar, the New Zealand dollar fell by 0.33% against the US dollar, and the US dollar rose by 0.08% against the Canadian dollar.
