An Indian Airlines spokesperson stated through a text message that, due to the escalating tension in the region, the company will gradually avoid certain airspace in the Persian Gulf in the coming days. Flights to Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Oman, and Kuwait will choose alternative routes. The spokesperson said, "This adjustment may result in longer flight times for these flights as well as select flights to and from Europe and North America." Currently, flights are not using Iranian, Iraqi, or Israeli airspace. The company is continuously consulting with external security advisors and will take additional measures as needed.
