The Eighth CIIE symposium was held in Turkey.

The 8th China International Import Expo roundtable meeting was held in Izmir, the third largest city in Turkey, on June 20th, with about 70 representatives from the political, business, and academic circles of both countries in attendance. The event was co-hosted by the China International Import Expo Bureau, National Exhibition and Convention Center, and the Aegean Exporters Association of Turkey. During the event, the China International Import Expo Bureau and the Aegean Exporters Association of Turkey signed a memorandum of cooperation for the 8th Import Expo. The 8th Import Expo will be held in Shanghai from November 5th to 10th, 2025.
