The National Disaster Reduction and Relief Commission has dispatched a working group to Hunan to guide disaster relief work.

On the 20th, the National Committee for Disaster Reduction and Relief launched a national level IV disaster relief emergency response in response to the recent severe flooding in Hunan Province. They sent a working group to the disaster area to inspect the situation on the ground, and to guide and assist local authorities in ensuring the basic living needs of the affected residents and in carrying out disaster relief work.
