Shipping giant Maersk suspends ships stopping at Haifa port in Israel.

Danish shipping giant Maersk Group issued a statement on the 20th announcing that, due to the conflict between Israel and Iran, it has temporarily suspended its ships from calling at the port of Haifa in Israel. Maersk Group stated that this decision was made after a "careful analysis of the risk report of the ongoing conflict between Israel and Iran, especially considering the potential risks of docking at Israeli ports and the impact this may have on the safety of the crew." The Maersk Group also said in the statement that, currently, the company's established operations in the region have not been further disrupted.
