National Medical Products Administration: Support the Innovation and Development of High-End Medical Devices, New Measures to be Introduced.

According to the Zhitong Finance APP, on June 20th, the National Medical Products Administration reviewed and approved the "Measures for Optimizing the Full Lifecycle Supervision to Support the Innovation and Development of High-end Medical Devices", which supports the innovation and development of high-end medical devices. The "Measures" include optimizing special approval procedures, improving classification and naming principles, continuously improving the standard system, further clarifying registration review requirements, improving communication and guidance mechanisms, refining post-market supervision requirements, strengthening post-market quality and safety monitoring, closely following industrial development, promoting scientific research in regulation, and advancing global regulatory coordination, among other specific measures. The "Measures" will be released in the near future.
