China Automobile Dealers Association: The passenger car market will continue to rise in June, with estimated terminal sales nearing 2 million units.

The China Automobile Dealers Association released the mid-month report on the passenger car market in June 2025. With dealers rushing to meet their half-year targets, the Dragon Boat Festival and the "6.18" sales event, as well as the stimulus of the old-for-new policy, consumers have shifted from a wait-and-see attitude to actual car purchases. The end of the college entrance examination and the growing demand for cars for summer road trips will further drive up passenger car sales in June. Considering these factors, along with the sales in May and the growth rate of dealer data in the first half of June, it is estimated that the total terminal sales of passenger cars in June will be close to 2 million units. The year-on-year sales growth rate for the first half of this year may reach 7%.
