Ministry of Commerce: Foreign investment absorption in China from January to May was 358.19 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 13.2%.

According to the Economic Information Daily APP, on June 20th, as announced by the Ministry of Commerce, from January to May 2025, a total of 24,018 new foreign-invested enterprises were established nationwide, an increase of 10.4% year-on-year; the actual use of foreign capital amounted to 358.19 billion yuan, a decrease of 13.2% year-on-year.
