The Emergency Management Bureau of Huoshan County, Lu'an City, Anhui Province, announced that the Anhui Seismological Bureau officially confirmed: at 5:20 am on June 20, 2025, a magnitude 2.8 earthquake occurred in Zhufu'an Town, Huoshan County, Lu'an City, Anhui Province, with a depth of 15 kilometers. After investigation, some nearby towns and townships felt the tremor. As of now, no casualties or property losses have been reported, and the production and life order of the residents are normal. After the earthquake, the provincial seismological bureau promptly organized a consultation meeting and concluded that there is low possibility of a destructive earthquake occurring in the near future in the original earthquake zone.
