The 6th Qingdao Summit for multinational company leaders opened on June 19th. Reporters found that this year's summit attracted a large number of "new faces" from foreign-funded enterprises. Data shows that there are 131 "new faces" attending the summit for the first time this year, accounting for 23% of the total participants. Companies from 9 countries including Vietnam and Egypt are attending for the first time, with over 50% of multinational companies coming from emerging markets. More and more multinational company leaders are using the summit to get a close-up understanding of China and grasp the dynamics of the Chinese market.
