Due to concerns about inflation in the United States and geopolitical risks in the Middle East, risk aversion has surged, causing emerging market stocks to fall for the third consecutive day. At 13:17 London time, the MSCI Emerging Markets Index fell by 1.3%, marking the largest drop since April 7. The emerging markets currency index fell by 0.2%, reaching its lowest closing level in two weeks. "It's hard to say what investors are more worried about," said Marc Bindschaedler, emerging markets stock investment expert at Vontobel Asset Management. "The flight to safety mode is once again activated."
