Guofu Quantum (00290.HK) issues profit warning, expects annual comprehensive loss not to exceed 5 million Hong Kong dollars.

The Zhixin Finance APP reports that Country Garden Quantum (00290.HK) has announced that the group expects the comprehensive loss for the year ending March 31, 2025 to not exceed 5 million Hong Kong dollars. Compared to the comprehensive loss of 30.68 million Hong Kong dollars in the year ending 2024, the loss situation has improved. The improvement in the comprehensive loss for the reporting year is mainly due to an increase in operating profits generated by the group's main business (including the group's securities brokerage and lending business); a decrease in expected credit losses on loans receivable and trade receivables; and a net increase in investment income recognized at fair value compared to the net loss on investments recognized at fair value in 2024.
