On June 19th, the Beijing Urban Sub-center held a series of news conferences on the high-quality development achievements of the "14th Five-Year Plan" - the "Yiye Sub-center" conference, introducing the achievements of the industrial development of the "14th Five-Year Plan" Urban Sub-center and the key work of the "15th Five-Year Plan". Li Zhilei, second-level inspector of Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission and Zhongguancun Management Committee, emphasized that strengthening the leadership of scientific and technological innovation is an important part of the high-quality development of the sub-center. During the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission and the Zhongguancun Management Committee strongly supported the development of the sub-center and comprehensively promoted the implementation of scientific and technological innovation work. They have supported the implementation of over 900 scientific and technological projects in the sub-center, made positive progress in strategic emerging industries and future industries, with industries such as new generation information technology and biopharmaceuticals breaking the scale of billions of yuan. The number of national high-tech enterprises maintained steady growth, reaching 1255 by 2024.
