Seizure of 26.7 tons of drugs "2024 China Drug Situation Report" released.

The National Narcotics Control Commission held a press conference today to release the "2024 China Drug Situation Report." In 2024, national anti-drug departments cracked down on 37,000 drug-related crimes, arrested 62,000 criminal suspects, seized 26.7 tons of drugs, and dealt with 193,000 drug users. The number of cases and arrests decreased by 12.9% and 5.6% respectively compared to the previous year, indicating a continued improvement in the overall drug situation nationwide.
