China Exim Bank issued 10 billion yuan of themed bonds to support Shanghai's stable foreign trade and promote development.

On June 19th, during the 2025 Lujiazui Forum, the issuance ceremony of the "Supporting Shanghai's Stable Foreign Trade and Promoting Development Theme Bonds" by the China Import and Export Bank was held in Shanghai. Wu Wei, member of the Standing Committee of the Shanghai Municipal Committee and Deputy Mayor, and Wang Chunying, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President of the China Import and Export Bank, jointly attended the event. The bond has a term of 1 year and an amount of 10 billion yuan, with the funds raised mainly used to support the operation and development of key foreign trade enterprises in Shanghai, covering key areas such as shipping, high-tech industries, energy security, and industrial supply chains. It has received strong support and enthusiastic subscriptions from various market investors.
