Yang Zhengwei, executive deputy director of the Lingang New Area Management Committee, stated on June 19th at the 2025 Lujiazui Forum's special session on "High-Quality Development of Reinsurance" that "we will make good use of the legislative power of Pudong New Area's regulations, and urgently research and introduce laws and regulations to support the issuance and trading of new types of risk transfer products, in order to promote pilot projects in Lingang."
