President of Goldman Sachs Group Asia Pacific, Mr. Shernande: AI is in the early stage of application and is in the stage of free development.

On June 19th, the sixth plenary session of the 2025 Lujiazui Forum with the theme "Empowering Financial Reform and Innovation with Artificial Intelligence: Opportunities and Challenges" was held. Sandeep Singh, member of the Goldman Sachs Group Management Committee and President of the Asia-Pacific region, stated at the meeting that AI is currently in a stage of free development. There has been a large amount of capital investment in the construction of financial infrastructure in China and other countries, whether it is the development of semiconductor chips or various technological investments. Singh believes that the development of artificial intelligence is still in the first and second stages, in the early stages of application, but more and more applications will be seen and these applications will change the way we work.
