Suzhou: The total value of goods trade imports and exports from January to May increased by 6.2% year-on-year.

On June 19th, Suzhou Customs released the foreign trade import and export situation of Suzhou city in the first five months of this year. According to statistics, from January to May this year, the total value of goods trade import and export in Suzhou city was 1076.15 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 6.2%, accounting for 6% of the total import and export value of the country and 46.2% of the province. Among them, exports were 679.55 billion yuan, an increase of 8.6%; imports were 396.6 billion yuan, an increase of 2.3%. In the month of May, the total value of goods trade import and export in Suzhou city was 224.1 billion yuan, an increase of 3.7%. Among them, exports were 139.25 billion yuan, an increase of 2.3%; imports were 84.85 billion yuan, an increase of 6.1%.
