Guangxi: After June 20th, the subsidy for trading in old items for new ones will be temporarily suspended.

On June 18th, the Department of Commerce of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region issued a notice suspending the subsidy program for exchanging old items for new ones in Guangxi in 2025. The notice stated that as of June 20th, 2025 at 24:00, the activities including car replacement, household appliances exchange, 3C digital products purchase, electric bicycle exchange, and home improvement subsidies will be suspended. For participants in the car replacement subsidy program, consumers must complete the purchase of a new car and lock in the quota by submitting the unified invoice for motor vehicle sales before 24:00 on June 20th through the car replacement activity zone on Yunshanfu. After locking in the quota, they must submit complete application materials before 24:00 on July 20th, 2025. Failure to submit the materials as per the rules of the program by the deadline will result in the application not being accepted. The subsidy program for car scrap and replacement will continue to be implemented as per the original policy. The subsidy program for exchanging old items for new ones will continue throughout the year, and the specific resumption time will be announced officially.
