Families of the victims of the 737 crash urge American judges to reject the agreement proposed by Boeing.
Relatives of the victims of the two deadly crashes of Boeing's 737 Max aircraft are urging a federal judge to reject a proposed agreement between the company and U.S. prosecutors that would allow Boeing to avoid criminal charges. According to court documents filed on June 18th, lawyers for 15 families of the victims believe that Boeing should be tried for conspiracy as originally planned by the government, in order for the company to take more responsibility for the deaths of 346 people. Some families of the victims are asking the judge to appoint a special prosecutor to oversee the case.
