Guangdong has upgraded its emergency response to Level III for disaster relief.

The Guangdong Provincial Disaster Reduction Committee has learned that, in response to the current heavy rain and flood disasters, after assessment, according to the "Emergency Plan for Natural Disaster Relief in Guangdong Province," the Guangdong Provincial Disaster Reduction Committee has decided to upgrade the provincial level IV disaster relief emergency response to level III at 12:00 on June 18th.
