On June 17th, Li Zhen, a member of the Party Committee and Deputy Director of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, stated at the second special advancement meeting of the action plan for deepening and enhancing the reform of state-owned enterprises by 2025 that state-owned assets and enterprises need to intensify their efforts to promote the transformation and upgrade of traditional industries towards high-end, intelligent, and green development. It is necessary to further apply artificial intelligence, industrial internet, 5G, and other digital technologies to drive the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries. In remote areas or regions where technological innovation is relatively lagging, efforts should be made to take advantage of opportunities and develop a competitive edge. Actively utilizing relevant national policies related to "dual emphasis" and "dual innovation" to promote renewal and upgrading, and achieve rejuvenation. Particularly focusing on using technologies such as artificial intelligence to promote the technical transformation of tough, dirty, dangerous, and exhausting jobs, fundamentally eliminating work safety hazards for frontline workers in special positions. Anticipating the changes in business structure brought about by the transformation of the "three modernizations", efforts should be made to strengthen the skills training of the workforce, better adapt to the new job requirements of the business, create more new positions, and smoothly relocate and adjust workers.
