According to CCTV news, on June 16th local time, the 55th Paris Air Show opened at Paris Bourget Airport in France. As one of the largest airshows in the world, this year there are more than 2400 exhibitors from nearly 50 countries and regions participating. However, on the opening day of the air show, the booths of several Israeli exhibitors were closed by the organizers. It is reported that the organizers put up a black wall and "closed" four booths of Israeli companies because the four Israeli companies participating in the Paris Air Show refused to remove their offensive weapons. The closed booths included Israel's Elbit Systems Company, Rafael Company, Israel Aircraft Industries Ltd., and UVision Company. Several small Israeli booths that did not display hardware and the Israeli Ministry of Defense booth remained open. French Prime Minister Beru said on the 16th that considering the situation in the Gaza Strip, we believe that offensive weapons should not appear at this air show. On the same day, the Israeli Ministry of Defense condemned the actions of the Paris Air Show organizers as "outrageous and unprecedented" and demanded that the French side immediately remove the black wall.
