Due to the recent conflict between Iran and the United States boosting international oil prices, the energy consulting firm Longzhong Information predicts that, by 24:00 on June 17, the domestic retail prices of gasoline and diesel will increase by about 300 yuan/ton. Calculated for a regular private car with a fuel tank capacity of 70 liters, after the new round of price adjustments, car owners will spend about 16 yuan more when filling up a full tank of gas, while owners of private cars with a 50-liter fuel tank will spend at least 11 yuan more.
