Wang Huiyao: China and the United States should strive towards "Olympic-style competition" rather than confrontation.

Wang Huiyao, Chairman of the Globalization Think Tank, has called for rationality and cooperation to replace confrontation and containment between China and the United States after the first meeting of the mechanism of economic and trade consultations. He pointed out that even though there is structural competition between China and the United States, both sides can still achieve "controlled competition", avoiding falling into vicious confrontation with the spirit of the Olympics and fair competition.
