Egypt signs a $600 million solar project financing agreement.

Minister of International Cooperation Lania Al-Masat stated that the 1-gigawatt solar power project and 200 megawatt-hour battery storage project being constructed by Norwegian company Scatec have signed financing agreements. The project has an investment of $6 billion and a power purchase agreement has also been signed for the 900 megawatt Shadwan wind power project.
