Inner Mongolia issues yellow alert for mountain flood disaster.

The Water Resources Department and the Meteorological Bureau of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region jointly issued a yellow warning for mountain flood disasters on June 14, 2025, predicting that from 20:00 on June 14 to 20:00 on June 15, there is a high possibility of mountain flood disasters in the northern and southern parts of Aohan Banner in Chifeng City; a relatively high possibility of mountain flood disasters in the eastern and southern parts of Hexigten Banner in Chifeng City, as well as in parts of Linxi County, parts of Bairin Right Banner, parts of Wengniute Banner, parts of Aohan Banner, and parts of the central and southern regions, and a relatively high possibility of mountain flood disasters in parts of the northern and southern parts of Hexigten Banner, most parts of Linxi County, parts of Bairin Right Banner, parts of Bairin Left Banner, the central part of Ar Horqin Banner, parts of the northern region of Songshan District, parts of Aohan Banner, parts of the central region, parts of Xilinhot City in Xilin Gol League, and parts of the western and southern regions of Naiman Banner in Tongliao City may also experience mountain flood disasters. Other areas may also experience mountain flood disasters due to short-term intense precipitation in local areas. Relevant departments are urged to implement defense measures in accordance with their responsibilities, and the public is advised to be cautious and take measures to prevent disasters.
