"Yttrium" breakthrough achieved in commercial production of Yttrium-90 in China

Today, reporters learned from the CNNC that the yttrium-90 glass microspheres irradiated by the Qinshan Nuclear Power Plant's "Hefu-1" reactor have been successfully removed from the reactor and passed relevant tests, marking the successful mastering of the technology to produce yttrium-90 in commercial reactors in China, which can now be mass-produced.
