The transportation department is on high alert and fully prepared to defend against typhoon "Butterfly".
On June 13th at 10 o'clock, the Central Meteorological Observatory continued to issue a yellow typhoon warning, a yellow rainstorm warning, and a blue warning for strong convective weather. The first typhoon of this year, "Butterfly", will move northward at a speed of about 10 kilometers per hour, skimming the western waters near Hainan Island, and is expected to make landfall along the coast from Xunwu, Guangdong to Beihai, Guangxi around noon on the 14th. The Ministry of Transport is continuing to coordinate with transportation authorities in Guangdong, Hainan, Guangxi, Fujian, Jiangxi, Hunan, as well as maritime authorities in Hainan, Guangdong, and Guangxi, and the South China Sea Rescue Bureau, urging them to strengthen consultation and judgment, fully implement the warning response mechanism, strictly enforce measures such as shutdown and control, enhance inspections and precautions, pre-position resources, handle emergencies, and ensure the safe and orderly operation of the industry.
