The Ministry of Transportation is further deploying and mobilizing efforts to defend against typhoon "Butterfly".
In the next three days, as Typhoon "Butterfly" moves further inland, provinces such as Hainan, Guangdong, Guangxi, Jiangxi, etc. will experience heavy rainfall, with some areas accumulating over 500 millimeters of rain. On June 14th, the leaders of the Ministry of Transport dispatched officials from key provinces such as Hainan, Guangdong, Guangxi, Fujian, Hunan, Jiangxi, Zhejiang, as well as maritime authorities in Guangdong, Hainan, and Guangxi, and the South China Sea Rescue Bureau. They emphasized the importance of prioritizing the safety and lives of the people, overcoming complacency, and focusing on implementing measures to prevent and respond to heavy rain on land while also conducting effective typhoon prevention measures at sea. They were instructed to closely monitor and fully implement defense measures to ensure the safety of people's lives, important infrastructure, and the steady and orderly operation of industries during the typhoon.
