According to the announcement of the Shanghai Municipal Communications Administration, the Shanghai Municipal Communications Administration has decided to organize a network and data security inspection for the telecommunications and internet industry in Shanghai in 2025. The inspection targets basic telecommunications enterprises, internet enterprises, domain registration service organizations, etc., that provide public internet network information services. The focus of the inspection is on the important network units of relevant network operating units and information systems that carry important data, including but not limited to critical information infrastructure, communication network infrastructure, public cloud service platforms, domain service systems, industrial internet platforms, identification resolution systems, connected car platforms and applications, etc. The inspection requires enterprises to implement the "Cybersecurity Law", "Data Security Law", "Personal Information Protection Law", "Regulations on the Management of Network Data Security", "Measures for the Administration of Telecommunication Network Security Protection", "Measures for the Management of Data Security in the Industrial and Information Fields", and "Provisions on the Protection of Personal Information of Telecommunications and Internet Users", to establish and improve the enterprise's network data security management system and protection system, conduct training on laws, regulations, and rules, and strengthen daily network and data security management and protection practices.
