Israeli experts analyze the attack on Iran: The war is just beginning.
According to a report by the German news channel website on June 13, at a press conference convened by the European Jewish Association on Israel's attack on Iran, former head of Iranian affairs at the Israeli Military Intelligence Agency, Dany Zamirnowitz, said: "This war has just begun. The operation is not over. The next 24 hours are crucial." When asked if they planned to continue airstrikes, a spokesperson for the Israeli Defense Forces replied that she had been awake for 36 hours and did not plan to go to sleep soon. Zamirnowitz is currently serving as a security analyst at Tel Aviv University. He believes that Israel is afraid of losing its understanding of Iran's nuclear program, which is why the attack was launched. In his view, Iran is in a difficult situation: the government in Tehran must first determine which targets Israel hit, how much damage was done, and how to repair it; Iran lacks strong support from allies, and its leadership of the so-called "Axis of Resistance" is on the brink of collapse.
