The Israeli military issued a statement on the 13th saying that Israeli forces killed three top Iranian military commanders in a military operation against Iran in the early hours of the day. The statement said that more than 200 Israeli warplanes attacked over 100 targets inside Iran based on precise intelligence, including hiding places of senior Iranian military officials, killing three top commanders, namely, the Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, Mohammad Bagheri, the Commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, Hossein Salami, and the Commander of the Emergency Command Headquarters, Gholam-Ali Rashid.
