The National Energy Administration organizes the first batch of pilot projects for the construction of new power systems. Focusing on the frontier directions of new power systems, single-direction pilot projects are carried out based on typical projects, and comprehensive pilot projects covering multiple directions are carried out based on typical cities, exploring new technologies and new models for the construction of new power systems, and promoting breakthroughs in the construction of new power systems. Adhering to key breakthroughs, pilot projects are carried out in seven directions including network-type technology, system-friendly new energy power plants, smart microgrids, computing power and power cooperation, virtual power plants, large-scale high-proportion new energy exports, and new generation coal-fired power plants. Adhering to local conditions, in combination with the actual situation in various regions, suitable directions are selected to arrange pilot projects, and the scale and scope of the pilot projects are reasonably determined. Adhering to innovation leadership, encouraging the use of new technologies and models, supporting the application of intelligent grid national key scientific and technological projects and energy technology equipment "short board" results in pilot projects, and simultaneously carrying out institutional mechanism reforms.
