From January to April this year, a total of 5,679 old urban communities were newly renovated nationwide.

According to the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, from January to April, a total of 5679 dilapidated urban neighborhoods were newly renovated nationwide. In terms of regions, six areas including Hebei, Chongqing, Liaoning, Shanghai, Zhejiang, and Hubei have a construction initiation rate of over 50%. It is reported that by 2025, the national plan is to start the renovation of 25,000 dilapidated urban neighborhoods.
